We've been building on Vancouver Island for fifteen years, and in that time we've learned that the difference between a good sauna and a great one is almost never the heater — it's everything hidden behind the cedar. Proper vapor barrier and foil installation so moisture never reaches your framing. Intake and exhaust vents placed where they'll actually move air, not just where they're easy to cut. Bench heights set to the heat, not to a catalogue drawing. Wood species chosen for how they behave at 190°F and in coastal humidity, not just for how they photograph. These are the details that decide whether your sauna still feels and smells right in year twelve, and they're the details that get skipped most often by builders who treat a sauna like any other small room.

We're local, we're accountable, and we're still a call away long after the build is finished — because most of our work comes from people who send us their neighbours. If you're thinking about a sauna in Victoria or anywhere on the Island, get in touch. We'll give you straight answers and a clear plan.
